Oasis is proud to present "Oasis in Colour", our first art exhibition featuring artwork created by older adult members.
The show is an exciting milestone for the program, bringing Oasis communities together for the first time since the pandemic. On display will be a number of works, including acrylic painting, multi-media and textiles, created by Oasis members from across Ontario.
The show will also feature a collaborative art mural created by members of the Kingston and Belleville Oasis sites earlier this year. Each square of the mural was designed by an Oasis member and when together, it forms the Oasis logo which was created by the members of the original Oasis site. It represents the power of coming together, a key feature of Oasis! This collaborative art piece was recently awarded top prize at Queen’s Art of Research contest.
If you are unable to see the gallery in person, you can view a slideshow of the gallery at this link. You can also view the gallery online by joining the Oasis Network and looking at our Events page.
